Finally got the chance to visit Palpitate this 2026!
Dropped by Palpitate – Robinsons Iloilo during lunch and ordered their Pesto Pasta plus the Iced Pistachio Oat Latte, since they recently launched their Pistachio series last December.

The pesto pasta was really good—definitely my kind of flavor. The pesto sauce tasted fresh and balanced, though the olive oil was a bit on the generous side for me. At ₱270, the serving size feels just right. It’s topped with cherry tomatoes that pair well with the pasta, and you can really taste the basil leaves. Bonus points because the noodles were cooked perfectly and I believe the angel hair type of pasta was used. I’d give this a 9/10.
For the Iced Pistachio Oat Latte, it was okay. The oat latte flavor was more dominant than the pistachio notes. Coming from someone who sold pistachio nuts for two years, I was hoping for a bit more pistachio flavor.
That said, I still love Palpitate—the staff is always friendly,
the ambiance is cozy, and I’ve enjoyed many of their drinks before. I’ll be
back (especially for that pesto again!).
