Bangkok is a city where culture and flavors collide, and my first day was all about immersing myself in its rich history and indulging in incredible food.
✅ Morning: Temple Hopping
I started my day at Wat Pho, home of the iconic Reclining Buddha. Standing in front of that massive golden figure felt surreal—it’s even bigger than I imagined! Entrance is at 300 Baht.

Next stop was Wat Arun, just a short ferry ride across the river. Its intricate spires glistened under the morning sun, and honestly, it was one of the most photogenic spots of the day. Entrance is at 200 Baht with free bottled water.

✅ Lunch at Kin & Koff Café
After all the walking and temple-hopping, I headed to Kin & Koff Café, a cozy spot near Wat Pho. I tried their Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, and a spicy Kapao dish—every bite was bursting with flavor! Definitely a great place to refuel.

✅ Afternoon Coffee & Dessert at % Arabica, Empire Tower
Being a coffee lover, I couldn’t miss % Arabica at Empire Tower. The highlight? Their Matcha Soft Serve paired with a cup of their signature coffee. I enjoyed it while taking in the stunning Bangkok skyline—a perfect blend of taste and view.

✅ Dinner at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice (Michelin-Starred)
To end the day, I treated myself to a Michelin-star experience at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice. Their famous Hainanese Chicken Rice lived up to the hype—tender chicken, fragrant rice, and that flavorful chili sauce that tied it all together. A must-try when in Bangkok!
